New for the 2017 Kentucky Three-Day Event, Champions Live! is a Sunday morning panel discussion featuring a U.S. equestrian champion from each Olympic equestrian sport:
- Eventing: Phillip Dutton (pictured), Individual Bronze Medal Winner at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games
- Show Jumping: Melanie Smith Taylor, Show Jumping Legend and NBC Analyst
- Dressage: Silva Martin – Successful Grand Prix Dressage competitor and sought-after trainer and coach
Champions Live! will take place after the final horse inspection, approximately 9:30-11 a.m., Sunday, April 30, in the Kentucky Club. Former Eventing Olympian Jimmy Wofford will moderate the session, which is co-hosted by Equestrian Events, Inc. (EEI), the U. S. Eventing Association (USEA), U.S. Hunter Jumper Association (USHJA) and U.S. Dressage Federation (USDF).
This fun opportunity to hear from U.S. equestrian champions is free and open to anyone with a Sunday RK3DE grounds admission ticket. For those who cannot attend in person, the USEF Network will live stream the session.
