Competition Intern

This role provides experience in event operations, assisting with rider and official communications, competition
logistics, scheduling, scoring, and on-site support. The intern will work closely with the competition management team to ensure smooth and professional delivery of all competition elements while gaining
valuable insight into the organization of a world-class equestrian event.
Development & Sponsorship Intern
Apply HereEquestrian Events, Inc. (EEI) is seeking a motivated student intern to support the Kentucky Three-Day Event by serving as the primary point of contact and on-site lead for a high-visibility fan experience area; the Chewy Demonstration Arena.
This intern will work with the Director of Development and Sponsorship
Sales to create the programming, contacts, schedule and day-of organization of the Chewy Demonstration Arena during the K3DE. This internship offers hands-on experience in event planning, logistics, site operations, and guest experience management, as well as the opportunity to build relationships with a leading animal supply company in the industry.
Development & Guest Experience Intern

(EEI) is seeking a motivated student intern to support the Kentucky Three-Day Event by serving as the primary point of contact and on-site lead for a high-visibility fan experience area; the Kentucky Kids Club and Safety & Wellness Arena. This intern will work with the Development Team to create the programming, contacts, schedule and day-of organization of the Kentucky Kids Club and Safety & Wellness Arena.
This internship offers hands-on experience in event planning, logistics, site operations, and guest experience management, as well as the opportunity to build relationships with leading sponsors in the equine industry across the globe.
Marketing Intern
Apply HereEquestrian Events, Inc. (EEI), producer of the world-renowned Kentucky Three-Day Event (K3DE), is seeking a Marketing Intern to join our team during the lead-up and execution of the 2027 event.
Beginning January 11, the Marketing Intern will work a minimum of six hours per week in the EEI office at the Kentucky Horse Park, gaining hands-on experience across event marketing, communications, digital media, branding, media relations, fan engagement, and event operations. The intern must also be fully available and working for the entire duration of the Kentucky Three-Day Event, April 22–25, 2027.
Visual Content & Digital Media Intern
Apply HereEquestrian Events, Inc. (EEI), producer of the world-renowned Kentucky Three-Day Event (K3DE), is seeking a Visual Content & Digital Media Intern to join the marketing team throughout the final weeks of preparation and execution of the 2027 event.
Beginning March 29, the Visual Content & Digital Media Intern will commit to a minimum of four hours per week in the EEI office at the Kentucky Horse Park, working alongside the marketing team to develop social and digital media strategies, create engaging content, and visually document the transformation of the Kentucky Horse Park as the Kentucky Three-Day Event comes to life.
The intern must also be fully available, onsite, and working for the entire duration of the Kentucky Three-Day Event, April 22–25, 2027.
Hospitality Host/Hostess

This position is responsible for welcoming and assisting VIP guests, sponsors, and hospitality patrons in designated areas, ensuring they receive top-tier service throughout the event.
The Hospitality Host/Hostess will help manage seating arrangements, monitor hospitality spaces, answer guest inquiries, and provide support to the hospitality team to maintain a professional, welcoming, and enjoyable environment. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a world-class equestrian event while providing exceptional service to sponsors, VIPs, and hospitality patrons. Ideal candidates are enthusiastic, dependable, and committed to creating memorable guest experiences in a dynamic event environment.
Trade Fair Coordinator
Apply HereThe Trade Fair Coordinator supports the planning, coordination, and execution of the Kentucky Three-Day Event (K3DE) and American Eventing Championships (AEC) trade fairs under the direction of the Hospitality & Trade Fair Manager. For K3DE, the Coordinator supports the full range of trade fair operations, including vendor recruitment and renewals, exhibitor relations, financial tracking, logistics, and event-day execution.
This is a part-time, seasonal position with variable hours based on the annual event calendar. Workload increases during planning and preparation, peaks immediately before and during each event, and is substantially reduced during lower-volume periods. Requires availability for extended hours during event days, setup, and breakdown.
