Christopher comes from a farming background, and both he and his wife Shelley have produced and managed horses competing up to the 4* level. Together, they previously owned and operated a multi-discipline equestrian event centre in Auckland, New Zealand, which they successfully ran for many years.



Christopher has been designing courses for over 20 years and currently serves as the course designer for the New Zealand Three-Day Championships, Horse of the Year New Zealand, and the Sydney Three-Day Championship. He has also played a long-standing role in the FEI Oceania Championships, overseeing courses for the ongoing competition between New Zealand and Australia.
